We started our initiative with one goal in mind; to conserve one of our most precious of natural treasures, the Downeast Acadia region. Through grassroots education efforts focusing on the urgent need for preservation, we champion the push to permanently protect over 49 thousand acres of Acadia National Park region lands.  Our research empowers us to focus our outreach and funding support in areas of greatest need.

Our Mission

To provide grassroots support and education promoting conservation of the Downeast Acadia region.  Working alongside concerned citizens from communities across the region, we strive to maintain these treasures to be admired today and appreciated for generations to come.

If future generations are to remember us with gratitude rather than contempt, we must leave them something more than the miracles of technology. We must leave them a glimpse of the world as it was in the beginning, not just after we got through with it.
— Lyndon B. Johnson, President of the United States
